A decade ago, shopping to me meant scanning the local markets with mom, discussing every product at length, encouraging each other to try what's new, rewarding ourselves with treats and returning home with a sense of pride when the job was well done.

Even though shopping in the e-commerce era has increased convenience, faded temporal & geographical boundaries and been a boon to economy during covid, but it isn’t even half as fun as it used to be earlier !

Until now both e-commerce & social commerce have been mostly individual experiences, which to my relief, are set to change rapidly. Squad shopping & social shopping are the new trends in the e-commerce space, aiming to make shopping experiences closer to the traditional & fun shopping experience.
